As the digitalisation of the finance function continues apace, so too does the need for digital finance skills and competencies. Demand is high for those with broader skill sets, particularly in data analysis and forecasting — and the technologies that power them. However we are faced with a finance talent crunch, a lack of understanding of data, forecasting and advanced analytics, and a low level of data literacy in many finance teams. This session will explore the talent crunch, the skills needed to power the digital finance function and what we can practically do to upskill and recruit.
