Sylvia Ionita

Sylvia Ionita is a highly skilled finance professional with a Master's degree in Tax Management and Personnel Management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. She graduated with excellent success from the Business College Marienanstalt with a specialization in Controlling.

Sylvia has over 10 years of experience in finance and controlling, with a focus on operational controlling processes, management reporting, budgeting, and treasury tasks. Her thesis on the US American Alternative Minimum Tax showcases her expertise in tax management.

Currently, Sylvia is the Head of Finance at Waterdrop Microdrink GmbH, where she manages cash management tools, bank and IC loans, and investments. She is also responsible for monthly P&L reporting for five entities and consolidated group reporting. She supports the General Manager Waterdrop CEE and Head of Production in Germany and serves as a business partner for Sales Channel Heads. Sylvia played a leading role in the year-end closing and collaborated with external consultants for annual statutory reporting. Her special experience includes insourcing accounting for headquarters and two sales subsidiaries, implementing ERP and virtual credit card tools, and setting up the financials for the US entity. She has also supported CO2 projects with Glacier and led Series B/Due Diligence in 2021 with JP Morgan.
