Andrew Elsby-Smith FCCA

Andrew joined Amtico, the international flooring manufacturer and distributor, headquartered in Coventry UK, in 2008 as Group Finance Director. With manufacturing facilities in the UK and the USA and sales operations throughout the world, Amtico is an industry leader and the choice of home owners, architects and interior designers for beautifully designed and functionally superior floor coverings. Following a trade sale, Amtico is now part of US headquartered Mannington Mills Inc..

His career has largely been spent in international, premium branded, product companies. Andrew’s formative years were spent at Michelin Tyre PLC where he qualified as an accountant. Following this he moved to Waterford Wedgwood PLC spending 10 years as Finance Director of Wedgwood. Moving into the world of private equity, Andrew then became CFO of a Foodservice business ahead of joining Amtico International. Andrew has an MSc in Professional Accountancy from The University of London (UCL), is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is also a Governor of South Staffordshire College Group.
